I started practicing yoga when I lived in New York. With the intensity of professional dance training, I started to experience pain in my hip and knee joints. Through the practice of yoga and with a focus on body alignment and breathing, I managed to understand and eliminate the pain I was experiencing.
Yoga has taught me to manage my body better, through knowledge and understanding. Learning to move with the breath brings calm and clarity in my daily life.
In private lessons, my goal is that the student leaves the class with a greater awareness of their body. We work according to the morphology of each student and their ability to improve their posture and general physical wellbeing. Stress is always present in our daily life and many people suffer from physical pain due to the inability to handle this stress and resultant tension. Learning how to breath is an excellent tool to relieve and help manage stress.
Each body is different and evolves depending on external circumstances. Practicing Yoga allows you to have a better physical and mental state to improve your day. It is a discipline that allows you to be more present and calmer in your daily life or in the practice of your favorite sport. It allows you to go beyond your limits.
